The TaV Velocity Pitch does exactly what the name suggests, it changes the pitch of the sample depending on how hard you hit the pad.

A soft hit produces a pitched down effect, whilst a hard hit produces a pitched up effect. The sounds produced by this sound a lot like a doppler effect. great for water drip samples or even spoons.

If you're a master drummer you could even try loading in a guitar, bass or piano sample and see if you can play a song (now there's a challenge).
